All health and welfare benefit plans become effective first of the month following one month of employment (e.g., hired on February 14, benefits begin on April 1st) . Employees are eligible to enroll their spouse, dependent children and/or certified same sex or opposite sex domestic partner and their dependent children.
Medical Plans and Prescription Drug Coverage
Employees have the choice of three Preferred Provider Organization (“PPO Plan”) options administered by CIGNA and an Exclusive Provider Organization (“EPO Plan”) option administered by Empire BlueCross BlueShield. When you enroll in one of the medical options, you will automatically be enrolled in prescription drug coverage, administered by Medco.
Employees can choose between two dental PPO plan options administered by MetLife.
Vision coverage is administered by EyeMed. The vision plan covers eye exams, lenses and frames.
Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
The EAP provides employees with confidential assessment, short-term counseling and referrals at no cost for issues such as substance abuse, parenting, legal and financial problems, child and elder care issues, marriage conflicts and stress management.
Employee Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Benefits
Life and AD&D benefits are available at no cost to employees. Coverage is equal to 2 times an employee’s base salary up to $750,000 of coverage. Employees can also purchase supplemental coverage.
Long-Term Disability (LTD)
If employees elect coverage, the LTD Plan can pay a percentage of your base salary following 13 weeks of continuous disability.
Savings & Capital Accumulation Programs
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
Employees can elect to participate in the Health Care and/or Dependent Care FSAs to help pay for their eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses and dependent care expense, respectively, with pre-tax dollars deducted from their pay. Employees are eligible to participate the first day of the quarter following their hire date. For instance, if you are hired January 15, you will be eligible to participate in the Health Care and Dependent Care FSAs beginning April 1.
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
All salaried employees 20 years and older are eligible to join the 401(k) Savings Plan immediately upon hire. The 401(k) is a company-sponsored tax deferred savings plan. You may elect to save any whole percentage of your salary up to the IRS annual maximum and invest it for the future.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
The ESPP allows employees to buy Omnicom shares at a 5% discount to the open market price through payroll deductions. You are eligible to participate the first day of the plan quarter following six months of employment.
