New Voices Project Reports

Who is the Millennial Generation?

This is the question that the New Voices Project sets out to answer, specifically in terms of how Millennials view the workplace, the importance of work/life balance, and where and to whom they turn when starting the job search.

This three-part series includes the New Voices Project Executive Summary, New Voices Survey - Nurse Aspirants vs. Other Career Aspirants, and New Voices Survey - Millennial Minority and Gender Analysis.

Some findings include:

    • 89% visit a social networking site (eg. Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn) at least once a week
    • Nearly three-quarters (73%) prefer to apply to jobs by emailing their resume directly to the organization
    • The most important factors cited when considering working for a new employer are compensation (59%), the work itself (38%), and work/life balance (31%)

The full New Voices Project report offers not only findings, but implications and tips for success borne out of our extensive research.
