A Study in Efficiency - Financial Services

RRx was retained by a large, well-known financial services firm to help build a talent pipeline and assist in hiring top candidates. Project scope has varied over the course of our partnership, with both short and long-term assignments presented to our Project Managers.

When RRx was first retained, we were tasked with sourcing, screening and interviewing for hard-to-fill positions in the client’s Underwriting area. Twenty-six top-caliber candidates were hired. And RRx was given additional opportunities to support full-cycle recruiting for disciplines such as Wholesale, Actuary, Investment, Retirement and more. Today, several knowledgeable and well-qualified Project Managers continue to work on key talent pipeline initiatives with this client.

 

Knowledge, Technology, and Value - Health Care

While undergoing major process changes and department restructuring, a large, multi-hospital system located in Southern California faced the challenge of trying to recruit for a backlog of diverse, open positions with their lean, overwhelmed recruitment team! Like many organizations, they could not allow HR staffing changes to make them lose momentum or fall further behind. With the resignation of one of their key recruiters, they knew they needed
help—and fast!

RRx proposed that an experienced RRx Project Manager provide temporary, full-cycle recruiting support. This would give the System the help they needed to reduce the backlog of open requisitions and the time they needed to source and hire a replacement for the newly vacated Recruiter position.

The RRx Project Manager immediately went to work, quickly forwarding qualified applicants for next steps, dispositioning applicants and closing a number of requisitions. The client was so pleased with the immediate results that they opted to extend the RRx contract for six more weeks and requested two more Project Managers be added to the RRx virtual team. The RRx team, along with the client’s recruitment team, worked together to successfully reduce the number of open requisition from 850 to 500 and to ensure that 100% of the applicants were appropriately dispositioned.

Two months later, the System prepared to launch a large-scale recruiting initiative aimed at hiring 555 hard-to-fill positions. They quickly realized they needed help when they learned that one of their key Nurse Recruiters would be out on an extended leave of absence. RRx was contracted for 12-weeks to provide full-cycle recruiting support. Once again, RRx delivered! Each RRx Project Manager successfully managed 60 – 160 requisitions and forwarded to the appropriate party an average of 400 qualified candidates each week.
